Jump! Gymnastics is hiring energetic and enthusiastic individuals to become Gymnastics Coaches. In this role, you’ll lead engaging classes that follow our themed curriculum and help children grow through movement and skill-building. You’ll create a safe, supportive space where every child feels celebrated, challenged, and successful. Your mission: make classes fun, track each child’s progress, and keep parents in the loop.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Background in gymnastics, dance, cheer, tumbling, yoga, or similar movement-based activities.
- Prior experience working with children in any capacity—babysitting, nannying, sibling care all count!
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to your class schedule.
- Upbeat personality with a love for imaginative play and creative teaching.
- Willingness to dress up, tell stories, and bring themes to life in the gym.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Teach Gymnastics: Guide children through fun, skill-focused classes using our structured curriculum. Expect songs, stories, and lots of jumping!
- Track Progress: Assess each student’s development, celebrate achievements, and ensure proper program placement.
- Communicate with Families: Chat with parents before and after class, share updates, and answer questions warmly and professionally.
- Maintain a Safe Space: Keep the gym clean, organized, and hazard-free for everyone.
- Support Special Programs: Assist during Parent’s Night Out events, holiday camps, and seasonal student showcases.
- Be a Culture Champion: Reinforce our values of fun, confidence, and positivity in every class and staff interaction.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUMP! COACH:
- 3:00 PM – Arrive, check your email, and prep your space.
- 3:20 PM – 7:20 PM – Teach up to four 50-minute classes with small groups of 4–6 children. In between, connect with families, log progress, and share high-fives.
- 7:20 PM – Tidy up, complete simple admin tasks (birthday cards, ribbons, follow-ups), and clean the facility.
- 7:45 PM – Clock out knowing you made gymnastics the best part of someone’s day.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s for leadership roles)
- Background check clearance
- Available to work a minimum of two weekday shifts (3PM–8PM) and Saturdays (8:30AM–3PM) for at least one year
PHYSICAL ABILITY REQUIRED:
- Clear vision and hearing from 20 yards away
- Consistent focus during active classes
- Able to lift and support children (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable kneeling, climbing, spotting gymnasts, and adjusting equipment
- Capable of responding quickly to emergencies if needed

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.33 per hour
Jump! has three locations, one in South Austin, one in North Central Austin and a 3rd location in the Domain-Austin and a 4th on it's way in Hutto, Texas. We pride ourselves on teaching in a fun, positive atmosphere. It is important that both our students and employees are happy and love coming to Jump!
